Piston is known as the heart of an engine and one of key components of moving parts in the engine, it bears very poor working conditions by suffering from the periodic heating and alternating high-load under high-temperature gas during its working. It should be more protected during the operation and maintained or normally used according to the installation and operational rules of the engine so as to ensure the normal operation of the engine.

1. The piston model No. should coincide with its engine type as replacing the piston.
2.  Piston, piston pins and cylinder sleeve must be installed and operated within their proper dimensional range, an engine pistons should be put into a same quality group.
3. When replacing pistons, please clean the relating components like piston, piston ring, piston pin and cylinder sleeve.
4.  The pistons must be mounted as per its specified directions. The arrows on the piston top surface are generally directed to the front side of the engine.
5. No chip or scratch is appeared upon the piston or it's relating components during installing.
6. After installing piston ring to its groove, a lubricant under defined amount must be fed to the groove to make available for the easy rotation of piston ring. The direction of installation should not be reversed. The opening of the ring should be staggered for a certain angle so as to avoiding oil or gas pumping.
7. When the piston pin is assorted with the pin hole by interval under normal temperature, please smear over the surface of the pin and hole with clean lubricant and just pull inwards without force to prevent from the crushing injuries of the hole. When there is overfitting or interference fit of between the pin and hole, please heat the piston in the engine oil to a necessary temperature (80 t0 120 degrees in general) as mounting, so as to pull inwards the pin without force.
8. After replacing the piston, please make trial running-in and maintenance according to the requirements stipulated in the operational  manual of engine so as to ensure the best conditions of running-in between piston and other parts and the best mechanical performance of engine.
9. Under normal operation, please make regular maintenance and care in strict accordance with the operational instructions of engine so as to ensure the normal operation and service life of engine.
